The Special Services department of the South Lane School District strives to achieve the highest standards possible for our students with disabilities based upon their individual strengths and needs. Our dedicated staff works to support every student's physical, vocational, social, and emotional potential.

Per the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), school districts are required to locate, evaluate, and provide services for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children who may have a disability up until they are 21.
