Facility Use
South Lane School District’s Facility Use manages a wide range of spaces that support both our educational mission and the broader needs of our community. While our facilities are primarily dedicated to serving students, teachers, and district programs, many of them are also available for public rental when not in use.
Community members can request access to a wide variety of spaces suitable for workshops, trainings, meetings, and different community events. Larger spaces—including gymnasiums, auditoriums, athletic fields, and outdoor areas—may be reserved for sports leagues, performances, and community gatherings, provided that district activities remain the priority.
Anyone wanting to submit a request will first need to request an account. You will need to enter your group information and/or your information and review the priority groups and select the one that best fits the group or yourself. Once that is submitted, it will be reviewed. Once the priority is approved and all the needed information is submitted, you will be approved for an account and you are ready to submit requests. All requests must be submitted online and will be sent for approval. After the request is reviewed you will receive an email letting you know if your request is approved. If your request requires a fee, you will be sent an invoice that will need to be paid before your event takes place. Once that is done, your event will be added to our calendar. You can find the link to start this process below.
All use must aligns with district policies, safety standards, and scheduling requirements. Any and all South Lane School District events, programs and sporting activity take priority over any outside booking. We will also reserve time for maintenance and/or repairs. It is also important to know that we reserve the right to move, change or cancel a reservation if it conflicts with any South Lane School District event, program or activity, or, conflicts with our policies and/or safety standards.
