Work samples are required as a local performance assessments each year in grades 3-8 and at least once in high school.
Notes about Work Sample:

Grade 3 students are not held to a standard in Sentence Fluency.

Voice and Word Choice may be scored but are not required traits. Exemplars reflect expectations at each grade level.

Work samples are required as a local performance assessment each year in grades 3-8 and at least once in high school. The new Mathematics Problem Solving Scoring Guide which is aligned to the 2007/2009 Mathematics Content Standards is adopted for use in 2011-2012.
