Welcome Back to the '26-'27 School Year!

Dear London Families and Students,
The start of a new school year is almost here, and London is beginning to come back to life! Classrooms are being put together, plans are being made, and before long our halls will once again be filled with kids. I am so excited to welcome everyone back and begin a new year together.
This year is especially meaningful for me as I step into the role of principal at a school that has been such a big part of my life. After many years at London, I have seen this school grow and change, welcomed many families through our doors, and watched a whole lot of little Knights grow into big ones. I feel incredibly fortunate to now have the opportunity to serve London in a new way.
As we head into this year, one of the things that matters most to me is keeping the close-knit, small-school feeling that makes London, London. We know our kids. We know our families. We celebrate together, pitch in when something needs to get done, and look out for one another. Our size gives us the opportunity to create experiences for kids that are personal, flexible, creative, and sometimes a little unconventional—and I think that's something worth protecting.
At the same time, we will continue working to make London a place where students are challenged, supported, and encouraged to grow. I want our students to feel excited about learning, comfortable taking risks and making mistakes, and confident that there are adults here who know them, care about them, and believe in them.
We also have several new faces joining us this year, and we are excited to welcome them to London!

Molly Goossens-Laurendeau – Middle School
Kathryn Mebust – K/1
Melissa Blomquist – Educational Assistant
Mauri Bennett – Kitchen
Jody Pattinson – Preschool Promise EA
Elyse Walters – Special Education
Dana Okray – SEL/PBIS Support
Marissa Martin–Community Care Specialist

We are lucky to have them joining our team and look forward to our students and families getting to know them throughout the year.
To our returning families, welcome back! Thank you for continuing to be such an important part of our school. To our new families, we are so glad you are here, and I hope it doesn't take long for London to begin to feel like your school, too.
And to our students: enjoy these last days of summer! Your teachers and staff are getting everything ready, and we can't wait to see you back in the building.
There will be new faces, new experiences, and plenty to learn this year, but the heart of London remains the same. I am looking forward to seeing our students grow, watching our community come together, and making some great memories along the way.
Here's to a wonderful new school year and plenty of London magic.
