SLSD Staff Wellness: Caring for the Caregivers 
 
Mindful Moments May- Even in a busy season, mindfulness slows the pace just enough to help us notice what's good and reduce the chaos we carry. Simple pauses, as short as 30 seconds, build clarity and emotional steadiness when it's needed most.
Potential Goals:
  • Eat lunch by yourself, without work!, and notice every bite.
  • At the end of your day, write down three positive things that happened that day, no matter how small.
  • Stretch. In the morning, at lunch, during Prep, at night or whenever you can
All activities are simple, fun, and completely optional. Just small ways to support you and strengthen our sense of community.  Check out the three things that we got cookin' for staff in 2026 'Communications email' 1/13/2026.

Challenges:
The Conqueror- Virtual Challenge
The North Coast 500 Virtual Challenge will take you on a spectacular 500mi (806km) journey through the Scottish Highlands — a scenic route that has it all, from sandy beaches to beautiful castles and diverse wildlife. Each time you complete a distance-based exercise, such as running, walking, cycling, or swimming, you advance along the map.
